Decorender

Decorender Jagged/Smooth is a decorative finished system, which has been formulated to provide a water and weather-proof, elastomeric, tough, flexible exterior system for concrete and many other building wall materials. It is very elastic in its behaviour, thus expanding and contracting with the Maltese climate. 

Decorender Jagged/Smooth bonds and sets in-situ to provide a seamless, fully adhered, elastomeric coating on the surface to which it is applied, making it ideal for:
  • Facades
  • Internal courtyard walls
  • and other wall applications.  
The quartz used, reinforces further and adds to the durability of the completed system.  Decorender Jagged/Smooth can also be used as a waterproofing substrate. 

Decorender Jagged/Smooth has a unique set of performance properties:

  • Resistance water
  • The ability to expand and contract to tolerate building                movement
  • Dried film and the surface adhesion is not affected by humidity.
  • Very robust and does not scratch easily

Traditional Finishes

A key property of the Decorender Jagged/Smooth coating system is, that it can be made to look like the traditional “Silicata” finishes, with additional waterproofing properties as well as augmenting its resistance to negative bar pressure.

The robustness extends the lifespan of Decorender Jagged/Smooth and makes it more attractive from a cost point of view over lifetime of other look alike systems which need replacing far more frequently due to degradation and hence a shortened life span. The components used in Decorender Jagged/Smooth has repeatedly proven their durability and superiority to other coatings over the last 18 years on the Maltese Islands.

DIY Friendly

The Decorender range can be sold as DIY system.

This is an easy to apply system and is aimed to be an alternative  as well as competitive with the traditional  “Silicata” and “Graffiato” systems.
